Performance Exams

Is your horse performing at its peak, or are subtle "missing pieces" holding them back? At River Equine Veterinary Services, we take a whole-body approach to performance exams, recognizing that a horse is only as strong as the sum of its parts. Our goal is to move from reactive treatment to proactive optimization, catching minor asymmetries before they become major lameness.

​We can offer advanced imaging and ultrasound guided injections as well as regenerative therapies to treat the root cause of poor performance. 


Telemedicine 

Telemedicine consults are offered to clients that already have an established Veterinary Patient relationship.  If you would like a telemedicine consult please email [email protected] and I will send you an email with an invoice and the required information.  If the consult results in an onsite visit the fee with credited to that visit.

Emergency

Emergency Services are provided to clients in good standing with a valid Veterinary Patient Relationship.  We have participated in an on-call share for several years that has allowed continued care to provided after hours.  The information for the on- call veterinarian will be on the voicemail.  804-230-9247
It may be necessary for you to haul your horse to the veterinarian on call for care.  Prepare before an emergency arises.
